- updated create.pl and rename.pl:
  * make command line arguments consistent between the two scripts
  * all variables now set via named args, rather than relying on argument order
  * multi-threading: use --num_threads=n to specify the number of threads
  * general cleanup
- updated acceptance-metadata-single/-double to use the new syntax
