*   changed 'routes=' syntax...

       (a) to support pdsh-style range expansion e.g....
           [a,b,c,d-e,f,g,h-i]

       (b) to allow target network expansion so that all the remote networks
           accessible through the same set of gateways can be included in the
           same route command.
